The Earth is a torus with a micro-sun orbiting around the outside perimeter of the donut, on an off kilter axis which explains summer and winter. At the tops and bottoms of the torus, like a donut, there is frosting because the sun doesn't reach the northern most parts except at extremely oblique angles for most of the year. Beyond that, towards the hole, is more land and the inner sun, light leaks out and is visible as auroras. There are many stories of people traveling to this inner Earth region. Operation Highjump. To us this appears to be the ice wall of Antarctica and the endless iceberg sea of the north polar region. Parts of the Earth are probably hollow too, so there may indeed be more 'other' lands to explore. This is all encapsulated by an incredible force shield known as the firmament which is a series of concentric rotating layers containing what appear to be planets and stars, but which is really just the inside of the successive skins of the onion, so to speak, each with its own activity.
