>>1851264Since gay acceptance is a fairly recent thing, and gay marriage even more recent, we simply don't know how homosexuality relates to a lot of topics because the relevant data has yet to emerge. Things like whether or not homosexual households can raise kids as adequately traditional households, whether they're better than single parent households, whether there are extreme differences between lesbian and gay parents, whether there's a higher chance of gay couples having gay kids and shedding light on how socially determined homosexuality is.
Almost all contemporary gay acceptance is predicated on "well why can't a man love a man or a woman love a woman" and the fundamental assumption is that these relationships perfectly mirror heterosexual ones. But since we don't have widespread long term married homosexual couples or homosexual households that have been around long enough to be grandparents we don't know if that's true.
