>>439519538Hot take but 95% of the time when women beat men in combat sports, it's because the men are holding back.
It's ingrained in us to hold back because of chivalry and shaming culture: fighting a girl already puts you at a social disadvantage because the narrative is always "girl power" even if the lady herself wants nothing more than a purely equal test of strength without ideology getting into the mix: everyone else will always see it through the "battle of the sexes" lens. BEATING a woman is also bad for the same reason: everyone intrinsically wants the girl to win, regardless of her skill level. HITTING a girl is widely seen as a bad thing too, even in a combat sport event, because we're raised from birth to always believe boys should never hit girls for any reason.
All of these instances are why men lose against women, which are then cherrypicked on Plebbit and Xitter to make the betas and Californians go wild and persist their make-believe that women are just as strong or stronger than men but "were always being held back by the patch tree archy".
Most of the time when a girl wins without this being the case, it's a fluke, a freak of nature, or 13-year-olds competing (girls are more capable than boys only at that age because they mature faster, but boys catch up quickly and overtake them)
