*And when i say Philo of Alexandria invented those religions i mean Philo's school. He was the head of the Alexandrian School and had a lot of help. I imagine these religions were like PHD projects that he oversaw. But those four religions (Hermeticism, Gnosticism, Buddhism, Christianity) trace back to him.
His predecessor, Aristobus of Alexandria did the old testament/Septuagint, Mithraism, and others.
Long story short, after the death of Alexander his empire was split up. His general Soter inherited Egypt and became Ptolemy Soter, an ethnic Greek that was the Pharaoh of an Egyptian population, so he knew he needed a psyop religion to placate the people. He built the Alexandrian School and summoned Greek philosophers from around the Greek speaking world and built the library of Alexandria to house all the worlds religions. The end result was the Serpis Cult. 300 years after this the jews comprise 50% of Alexandria's population, including the richest residents, and they just repackaged this slave-making psyop and targeted it towards everyone they wanted to subvert (Aryans).
