>>18606992It's a generic term because there is no "white" ethnicity, no white culture (at best you can argue there's regional american cultures, white can't be applied to old world at all). It means fair skin or euro descent, but it's applied to swarthy and non-euro descent peoples too (sicilians, jews, and if you by the census nafris and arabs too).
