1. Far too many prophecies made about him in the OT when they named him the messiah. Books that predated Jesus birth by hundreds of years, like the great Isaac scrolls. They said he would not be accepted by his people, he's be put to death, he'd be born in Bethlehem, he'd be born of a virgin, his hands and feet would be pierced, they would give him gall when he was thirsty, etc. etc. etc.
2. The followers of Jesus had nothing to gain but death from making up such a story, as death is what they all got, yet they were all willing to go to the grave saying "I saw him die, I saw him risen".
3. History itself follows the will of God. Since Jesus became the high priest and believers the temple, the temple has NOT stood again for 2000 years. Since Jesus became the perfect sacrifice, sacrifices have ceased for 2000 years. The original temple was destroyed, as Jesus prophesied shortly after his death. Existence itself obeys the words in the NT.
