I'm sorry, I was shitposting, but honestly the traditional conduction heating over a stove is just stupid for boiling water alone. Yes, most food tastes better this way, but for water alone the microwave is KING IN DA NORF.


When liquid water's enthalpy is high enough, it boils. Liquid water can only get up to 220° F or
100° C before turning to a gas.

A microwave also heats more homogeneously.
