Far more convenient. I used to have local mp3s i synced everywhere and backed up and its just way easier to have new stuff available without hunting it down, synced to all my devices with no file management and naming needed. For the few songs they dont have they allow a local folder on one device that they sync to your other devices. So weird stuff i rip from youtube that way still but its maybe 75 songs vs previously 10k. Also as one anon said the weekly discover finds some weird shit id never find on my own.
