I tried to get one of my bigger factories running on all solar (not modded), it uses like 3 nuclear reactors, and I had to make some pretty large holes in nature

actually I think it only uses 1 reactor, 2x2, and trains around steam from a second 2x2 reactor for really far out independent mining/military outposts
