>>18741498When I was like a 15 or 16 I borrowed a book about AI from the 90s about AI and neural networks
it had descriptions of all AI conscepts that are still in use today like: the design of a virtual neuron, how these neurons interact with each other in a neural network, how a number recognition network works etc.
I remember that they specifically said that even mainframe hardware back then just wasn't powerful enough to train more complex models than that previously mentioned but now all you need is an rtx gpu
If I'd wanted I could be in the forefront of AI development today but well... prorities in life had changed...
