>>18748976i think in cases when a mod does something really cool and works at least semi-stable the developers should just buy out the rights on that mod or whatever just paying the guy who did the thing if he did an actual good thing and implement it into to the game, i know that taking someone else's code and trying to work around it is not ideal but when you don't have a working fucking subway but there's already a mod for your game that have a working subway i guess it still would take less time to just copy and polish it then to just make it from scratch i suppose
