I gotta be honest... Japan has the best brand of conservatism in the world.

Unlike Western conservatives, they have a better balance when it comes to being sexually moral, they stigmatize promiscuity and generally have a wholesome society that values long term relationships, marriage, and encourages women to date good guys while shaming women who date thugs but they don't let the clear need for common sense sexual morality turn them into insufferable prudes who think all sexual desires are bad, that masturbating is going to send you to hell, that films shouldn't be allowed to show nudity or sex scenes, or that women should be shamed for wearing short skirts.

Japan also suppresses feminism without being downright abusive the way countries like Afghanistan are. Girls are encouraged to be cute, feminine, emphasize marriage and love over work and career. And Japanese society generally tries to create genuine gender harmony. Japan encourages women to be housewives but also aggressively suppresses rape and domestic violence.

Men are told to be chivalrous, honorable, and responsible but aren't simultaneously told they're expected to be emotionless rocks with no vulnerabilities the way a lot of Western right wingers do.

Japan is what every conservative society should look like, they're a shining example of how conservative values can create a beautiful culture... And that's why the left hates it so much and is so determined to destroy it.
