>>18775960It started out as an anime website for specifically anime enjoyers. I found it in 2006-2007, and I hate anime. I learned about it through early youtube drama/flame wars involving encyclopedia dramatic and 4chan references. And so, by 2007, it was already a fairly mainstream message board with non weeb/anime enjoyers frequenting it. And most of the posting now on the majority of boards are not anime posts. and that's a good thing.
