>>18784977It's pretty normal in here. I live in a tier 2 city in eastern Uttar Pradesh. The cost of living is very low. You get double the money back for your college fee as scholarship. We get free wheat, rice some oils for a month and subsidised LPG in cash for cooking. Plenty of schools here and like 70% education rate, but the quality of education till the schools is low tier except the elite ones in which i had studied. Colleges are good. Jobs are kind of low paying due to immigrants but it's still good. Air quality is kinda bad due to being in the close proximity to Delhi. Open defecation is among the lowest in our North Western districts if you look at the defecation map which I can't post due to the IP ban. We share a similar culture to the states of Punjab, Haryana and uttrakhand and also Delhi as we are near those region than rest of the Uttar Pradesh. And our neighbouring districts from UP and these states also have a similar condition. We are technically below poverty line yet we're doing fine, I give tuitions on maths and Physics to highschool kids and live with my parents and we also grow some veggies in our lawn.
Tldr : Life is short and peaceful, the only issue being the fear of Unemployment.
