yeah it surprises me too, it was not such a big deal in older games
I think its because its the simplest map in terms of tactics since Dust 2 is just about aim duels and nothing else, and also it used to run the best out of all CS:GO maps for a while since it looked liek shit

Yeah hopefully they do come back soon tho. I wonder if danger zone will since that one is so hated by some many cs tryhards (read competitive 5v5 cuckolds that have no idea how many fun gamemodes were in older games)
