Society is fucked unless we solve the porn problem

Too many people are addicted to this shit and there's too much of it out there so it would be impossible to ban

People don't have the self control to stay away from it voluntarily even if they know how bad it is

There is no social structure to keep people accountable on this sort of thing. If anything the powers that be are encouraging it to keep people docile
