Heathenry is reviving, no not that asatru shite, but real Germanic paganism. Not marvel-tier jewish garbage, but a revival based in informed academic research of PIE language, culture and artifacts of pre-christian Germanic ways.

The edda's were entertainment for christians, by christians, based on prior christian documents and any gap or plothole filled with christian mythos.
They are the medieval equivalent of marvel comics.

The problem here is both AfolkA and AfreeA are systemic beliefs based on the edda's in addition to the fact they buy and repurpose christian churches for worship. These groups are hopelessly abrahamic, a thin veneer of norse aesthetic draped over semitism.

The Icelanders are owed a debt for their legal battles laying the groundwork for Heathen revival, but the hopes of Aryan men and women should lie in the Folkish Reconstructionists who respect actual pre-christian beliefs and use linguistic analysis and observation of syncretic Aryan pagan beliefs alongside records of contemporary non-christian observers.

Heathens do not belong in christian temples, they belong in groves of Oak, Pine, Elm or Birch, our ancestors worshiped in nature and through nature.
