I havent brushed my teeth regularly in a long time, I only use mouthwash. My gums hurt and my teeth are starting to move. Is it too late?

I'm kinda in the same position as you. I brushed every day but didn't see the dentist for 9 years. I am currently on pain meds and scheduled for a root canal soon and have 10 cavities.

If I had waited longer to see my dentist I probably would have had to pull my tooth out. Just go see your dentist. Technology these days is pretty good.

I had similar problems for years. They went away after I started using floss. There might be rotting shit stuck between your teeth and gums.

Once before sleep because when you sleep your mouth doesn't create enough saliva (or spit) to clean the food leftovers that might be on your teeth and it will rot your dents way faster then leaving the teeth unwashed during day
