>>18856454The west never fell. the west's most powerful culture dominated every form of entertainment and it only starting to die NOW. for over 90 years, american culture influenced every country's culture, with english words, american names for things, american holidays, american history, political situation. in 2020, in brasil, we had people asking people to vote (voting is obligatory here.) people calling out police brutality (it was worse back in the days) and 'liberal media' spewing fake news (media here was always centrist, and always spewed fake news). cultures in the whole world were more concentrated in late 70s and early 80s. meaning every culture represented their own identity, instead of a shitty version of american stereotypes of said cultures.
