Something strange that isn't talked about much in the incel, male loneliness epidemic discourse is how for a certain segment of the male population, women don't even exist anymore. I'm a therapist and one client brought up how he feels guilty for not caring at all about women's issues, MeToo, always taking the side of men. This person has no living female relatives. This generation might be the first in which men have to use abstract thinking to relate to a woman and her issues in the world. It's often only viewed in terms of sexuality but this hard cut off average men are facing in the dating market is having a disastrous impact on their empathy. It's why the raver chick killed in Israel didn't have the same impact as people expected; or as it would've in 2003. A military aged man, 22-23, a good 30-40% of them have never had a girlfriend. That was NOT the case in this country post 9/11.
