Modern English peoples still defend the dedicated genocide of Irish peoples, or the desertion and later bombing of France in WWII in which the British killed over 1,000 French sailors. Modern Englishmen still defend the Boer concentration camps as well.
The population of England that will do anything but defend and glorify these crimes against humanity are small and most likely have Celtic genetics anyway.
I would say that the leaders and social upperclass of England have committed some of the largest amounts of crimes against humanity and betrayals allied nations in human history.

Even if the British are capable of the self concept and self awareness, they still ACT less than human regardless, and it would only enforce their lack of any morality.
