Apparently academia is at it again and have been publishing papers suggesting that ancient Romans embraced homosexuality. This is an attempt to lend legitimacy to the claim that because ancient humans accepted homosexuality that it must mean it's moral and good.
This gentlemen, whom randomly popped up on my feed, expertly proves the ancient Romans were certainly not pro-gay, and in fact viewed it as unnatural and often punishable by death.
