1 carton of beef stock
4 large beets, peeled and quartered
1 jar of pickled beets, sliced
1 gigantic red onion, peeled, 1/8'd
2 handfulls of peeled carrot sections
3 stalks of celery
a few bay leaves
a clove of garlic, peeled crushed
Sizes are not important, it's getting blended.
Run in a slow cooker on high for 2 hours.
Remove all solid pieces from the broth.
Fuck them up in the blender.
Re-add all ingredients plus a diced leftover steak from the previous day.
Run for one more hour.
Serve with sour cream and buterbrod.
