If you've been hooked on porn you will end up falsely assuming you just aren't the social type and you're unhappy, but it's the addiction that's wired you this way. The good news is that the brain is very plastic and abstaining from porn will normalise your brain to function as it is supposed to. You will start enjoying talking to people and doing previously mundane activities like cooking a good meal or keeping your house tidy. Porn addiction will program your brain to want nothing but sit in front of a computer and do nothing productive. It also reduces your grey matter, fucks with the function of your frontal lobe, feeds egomania and normalised anxiety but these are biological effects of too much dopamine stimulants. Conversely, if you cut yourself off from artificial sources of dopamine you will become a hyper motivated, energetic version of yourself. That means quitting porn, video games, tv, social media, news, 4chan, sugar, alcohol, gambling. Obviously you have to draw the line somewhere to enjoy life, but porn fucks with your brain more like meth does, rather than junk food. Porn is closer to hard drugs.
