lived in europe for 2 years and I can't stand it here anymore
city and town design makes everything ugly and lifeless
this country has no personality
>in rural farm areas in england and scotland there are little public walking paths everywhere that the farmers use to get around and visit eachother. it's super fun for kids and you can use it to backpack through the country.
>In america there's just giant-ass roads through rural areas
>In Germany there's a singer who was a fan of tolkien's silmarillion so she partially learned Quenya (tolkien's elvish language) and writes epic pop songs in Elvish. There's also a band called Santiano full of old men with deep bass voices who sing rock/metal shanties.
>In America all the music is the same effeminate pop BS, virtually nothing is creative
>The center of most European cities is either off-limits or mostly off-limits to cars, so it's nice and peaceful and pleasant to walk around
>Most european cities and towns are also mix-used zoning so there's lots of cool shit in residential areas besides just houses. There's also pedestrian bridges, tunnels, paths, etc. everywhere, and there's not the boring repetitive layout here in the US. So you can actually take a walk and have fun and meet people. There's absolutely no reason to bother with taking a walk in the average american suburb.
