The mistake after qa being locked was that no one made an alt chan specifically for qa. r/drama did it right, where as qa refugees just split into various boards and an alt chan that already existed.

Ironically enough I wasn't even on 4chan that day and was deeply saddened to see it locked. I thought it was just going to be locked for a week too since the devs/mods do zero communication with this site other than telling people to fuck off the irc

I'll look into website coding/security. I'll still have my doubts about running a forum style website. I feel like people would complain I or whoever I staff is policing the site too much since I don't want it to be a clone of the sharty. I also feel i would be the target of getting doxxed if I wound up creating nimb.org or qa.win or whatever the fuck I'd call it. Just the pessimistic thoughts I have when I think about something like this.
