Curry just means "sauce" or "spice mix." Literally any seasonings constitute a curry powder. It is not a specific thing any more than "spices" is specific.

I don't like not having control over the amount of salt i put in things when I'm doing my own cooking. Sounds tasty though, I'll probably make my own simpler version and experiment a bit with it. Looks like the essential thing that sets it apart from other seasoning salts is actual chicken and getting the only unique ingredient there that isn't already in my spice cabinet means rendering down some chicken skins, brasing it in stock, dehydrating, and grinding to a powder.

That would leave lots of oils from the fats though wouldn't it? That would pack more flavor but I dont cook too often these days so I want something a bit more shelf stable. That sounds good too though, maybe mix it with some bread crumbs to held absorb excess oil and use it in something that I'd normally use regular bread crumbs in. Breading some fish with it and doing a surf and turf fish fry sort of thing seems like it could be good.
