you have sin. you know you do because you have conscience. that sin is real and you have evidence of that. whatcha gunna do with that? Holy Creator-God who dwells in inapproachable light will not abide with darkness and sin that we've already established that you have. (everyone does). so ... that sin is subject (not simply by judgements of divine justice, but simply by the nature of God existing and you (with sin) existing. Where else could you go but outer darkness to weep and gnash, if you can't dwell in the Presence of the Almighty, since you have sin, and no darkness and sin can dwell near Holy God (look into the word holy for greater context).
So it isn't so much God saying "how dare you not believe" but more God saying "what do you want me to do about it? you want me to stop being God Most Holy so your sin can be tolerated?"
No. God says in the Bible. God says "I change not, and in Me is no shadow of turning."
But, God, so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten (not made, for Christ Jesus is True God from True God, Light from Light) Son, that whosoever would believe in Him should no perish, but have everlasting life.
- and verse 17 of John 3 is the kicker:
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world (because it was already condemned) but that through Him (you) yes (you) anon specifically might be saved.
