if 1 has anything other than a 3 on the other side, the rule has not been followed (if D then 3)
if 2 has a D on the other side of the card, then the rule has not been followed since from the other side of the cards, it would be viewed as (if D then K) which is not following (if D then 3)
if 3 has a D on the back, then good, the rule has been followed
if 3 has anything other than a D on the back, that's fine, since the rule was that (if D then 3) which is NOT (if 3 then D) so the rule hasn't been violated. in either case, the rule is either followed or not violated so you don't need to check.
for 4, if the back has a D, then it would be violating the rule (if D then 3)
therefore, the only opportunities to break the rules are
1) if the backside of 1 is NOT a 3
2) if the backside of 2 IS a D
3) if the backside of 4 IS a D
no rule can be broken with 3 so no need to check it.
