By eating the slaughtered animals meat you are making yourself a part of the demand (there are thousands of animals slaughtered specifically to satisfy you and many others)
By common sense, if there wasn't a need for air conditioners, wouldn't there be way less companies that manufacturer air conditioning systems?

The butchers in buddhist countries are Christians, Muslims and Atheists. Stopping the activity of butchering isn't so simple because pushing a vegetarian diet on everyone would imply the massive usage of insecticides and by consequence the killing of more animals. Not that it matters anyway, most of the people are reborn in hell or the animal realm and will get a better chance to redeem themselves later.

You got a point. But there is something a bit retarded. If killing animals is punishable and if you go the other way around (only eating plants) a lot of animals will die.. as well? Don't plants count as living beings? They reproduce, grow, and die too. So who is it to blame? Nature itself? Denying the basic principles of nature is kinda stupid. And what about predatory animals? Will they go to animal hell again? Or they don't count?

To be conscious is to be self aware. Most beings are capable of going through this process (I want this I want that I want food I want sleep). But not all of them are capable of having a "will". ex: I will go to see my grandparents today; I will start eating healthy; I will take my meds. So in this definition of consciousness. Animals aren't conscious.
