i hate this mindset. not because it seeks to make the most out of your life, to seize opportunity and experience new things, but because it imparts this undertone of existential dread, that you must spend your life chasing thrills and transient pleasures in order to make your life worth living. this isn't true at all, for i believe that a day spent in the sun, is a life well lived. it's almost out of a societal pressure that we must make our lives as grand as possible, when this only strips us from the true nature of reality, and ironically in turn, prevents us from living fully. it's your life, you get to decide how you want to live it, not in a way that betrays you of any responsibility, but in a way that genuinely fulfills you.
