I did know that Half-Life 2 ended on a cliffhanger and everybody wanted a third one. I meant I didn't know anything about the lore. There's a massive pastebin, and I just didn't know what it was, and didn't want to read through it.

Wasn't it obvious they weren't working on anything regarding Half-Life? It was a decade with pretty much zero official statements. If they ever make a sequel to a game they released before they turned to shit it's going to be Left 4 Dead 3 because that one's the easiest to milk with cosmetics.

The game industry is currently so full of jewery that I only enjoy playing older GTA games. I'm not even bothering to buy RDR2 because Kikestar will treat it like shit, just like what they did with GTA V, and only provide """free""" updates to RDRO for maximum microtransaction milking.
