Somebody I knew IRL had a problem and I figured out. Only later did I realize I had implemented a "round robin tournament" program in python. I knew the problem had probably been solved before but I only found out its name after I fully solved the problem. I only found out what it was called only after I had finished it. I hate it when I know that a problem has been solved but you don't know the words so you have to solve it again.
