We are now seeing people with Bachelor's degrees being forced to work at Starbucks and other dead end jobs. I could pull out the employment data and show you that there are orders of magnitude less job openings in high quality sectors than there are employed in low quality sectors, but would that change your perception?
People with wealth create the economic circumstances that govern what types of jobs and opportunities people without wealth can have. I also don't understand where this middle class haughtiness comes from given that their economic status is as much of the product of being born in the right place at the right time as it is their own efforts.
If you were born in the 1500's you'd be plowing in the fields with the rest of us peasants. If you were born in China you'd be a factory slave. So why spit on your countrymen as if you're something special, or refuse to share the bounty that God has freely given you, or pretend to own exclusively what was handed down to you by the collective effort of all of our ancestors?
