Now here's the response to your post: God does indeed take responsibility for the bad things that happen to people.
Here's a quote from Job as an example:
9 Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die!” 10 But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God and not accept adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.
(Job 2:9-10)
The problem with anti-Christians today is that they don't even bother to read the Bible and play a game of telephone with the public at large. Gone are the days of sophisticated Christ haters who were philosophers and actually read the Scriptures: people like Bertrand Russell and the like.
In any case, even these men were wrong.
9 For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
