It's very good to learn any second language but the idea that somebody only learned their native language and English or even just English and is motivated to learn Dutch by a cartoon that took 3 years to make 6 years ago and is 20 minutes long in total is... shocking. I mean there still is points of lesser continuity within dialect continuums and it's useful to separate languages at some point so idk I'll still call it its own language but I didn't realize that was much more possible than German-English mutual intelligibility.
