and no, most engerpise environments are linux for real workloads, where the macos shell shines to manage them. no one wants to use windows bastard shell or god forbid powershell. powershell is only good at managing shitty microsoft software that was designed to be configured with a gui and needs random non-standard powershell "modules" to manage them, which are bastardized ansible modules but ten times worse.
The reason "most" buisnesses use MS tools like AD and windows is volume, at a small scale they are managable and simple, but theres a reason no large player uses them for real work. Hell micrsosoft themselves defaults to giving their devs macbooks. speaks volumes of their faith in their shitty OS and "windows subsystem for linux". Having to make a bastard VM of a better OS to allow your OS to do any real work shouldnt be needed in the first place, but its the best feature to come from microsoft in decades.
