At first, I was kind of excited because I've never served on a jury before And I thought it would be a unique and interesting experience. sort of like an honor. And I sort of still feel that way. but now I realize that most of the people there are missing work and losing money to be there and I have a really cushy job that pays me for court related leave, So I feel obligated to show up and do my best because I'm getting paid to do it.
