Things I like about starfield:
- Ship building
- Space combat (satisfying even though it's shallow)
- Graphics are insanely amazing, textures are so high res you can read every word someone scribbled on a whiteboard and every letter on every screen in your spaceship
- exploring the interior of your ship
- weapons are good and customizable
- thank God they learned their lesson from FO4 and made a traditional dialogue system
- backpacks and guns visible on your body is standard instead of having to be modded in
- some of the survival stuff like contracting diseases and ailments and needing to take specific medicine to cure them, like developing a cough of you stand next to an sulphuric acid vent, it's a nice touch
Things I don't like:
- it's a fucking bethesda game so it's full of little bugs and glitches like turrets facing in wacky directions and design stupidity like dock ladders and landing bay ladders being perpendicular to each other for some reason
- the robot, I forget his name, clips through a fucking wall in the computer room on my ship and stays there
- I kind of miss voiced protagonists, I like watching my character talk and looking all intimidating with his huge gun and armor
- no cars, but I'm sure they're saving that for the sequel
Things people complain about that I don't:
- Barren lifeless planets will always be boring in every video game. Face it: Space is mostly empty and boring. There's just no getting around that.
Things I don't care about:
- mining
- the story (it's always shit in Beth games except morrowind)
