The Star Trek utopian future involves everybody assimilating to Western society or just being swept under the rug.
Yes, I know it's just a TV series, but it's a pretty good picture of the future that I think is worth emulating. In my headcanon, I like to think that all the poor countries (with poor quality people) are ignored and forced to continue living in poverty in the ways they've only known how and the rich countries have learned that the less civilized countries have to figure shit out on their own. In a world with replicators and money has no value, we're no longer importing goods from these countries and we have zero use for their cheap labor. They can either become like us or continue being poor (in mind)
