They collect your information and sell it off to companies. On top of that, they monitor your chatrooms. It's in their term of service. You should at least use FOSS like Mumble or irc over software like skype, mumble, or to a lesser extent teamspeak. I have been against Discord since day one and rightfully so.

only good discord i was in was the nhentai one but since discord is a piece of shit that banned loli and shota the server had no chance of survival. the mods were still pretty faggy

I went through it kind of fast but I didn't read anything about them selling information, I think
