I converted from christian to muslim 2 months ago. This was my choice out of my own free will. Unfortunately people around me started having negative attitude towards me. My parents disowned me, since they christened me when I was a baby. At work I get shit on for taking a break for praying, one coworker even "jokingly" said "I'll slip pork into your lunch". I don't wish to move out of here because it costs too much and I love this city. I used to be depressed before I converted to Islam and even though I found satisfaction and happiness in worshipping and reading Quran, outside I keep getting thrown back into the darkness. I just wish this country would be a little more respectful towards muslims.
