>>197194It has every intention of becoming a superstate. Many of our national institutions have already become either defunct or subordinate to EU regulatory bodies, and anything that involves independent law-making for our people is getting eroded bit by bit.
While there are many uneducated Eurosceptics, I have yet to meet anyone in the supposedly educated pro-EU camp who can explain how membership of the EU doesn't curtail a people's ability to determine their own future, and how having a massive extra layer of bureaucracy is in any way a healthy thing for an individual nation in the long run.
