What got you into Asian girls? Question for non Asians.

I'm White guy who's been on 4chan for over a decade. I grew up with Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z, Yugioh, Digimon, etc. I was obsessed with video games as a kid, big Sony fanboy. I liked Japanese cars and thought Samurai and Japanese architecture seemed really cool. How did i avoid becoming obsessed with Asian/Japanese girls? I still prefer White/European girls and i even prefer Latinas over Asian girls.
