All these years people at the internet were telling me that some others are too shy to talk even at the internet. And I was like "How the fuck can you be shy at the internet despite the anonymity?".

But...after seeing how so many internet douchebags act like assholes for no reason to newcomers at some communities and at the internet generally, I can finally see why some people are shy at the internet and prefer staying as lurkers.

I don't talk about being harassed for saying "offensive" stuff. but for just joining a group, say "hi" and members there be like "lol! your avatar sucks! go kill yourself, pedo!" and crap like that.

Retards falsely claim that the old internet was the wild west and yet I don't recall behavior like that being the norm at the old internet.
