But yea i have to confess that i read polish translation and it seems that it really hmmm polished Van Helsing's language, because it doesn't differ too much from the rest, if at all. In the end i enjoyed it in the end, well maybe aside from the rather rushed ending, well at least where it mattered. Freaking Gipsies got more exposition during it than Dracula himself.
>Worst part, half of his rambles are just him raving like a retard about the supreme goodness of women. Yea Stoker is really keen on elevating females to the unfathomable degree, but after reading translator's note i kinda get it. It wasn't just him but general idea of a woman in 19th century.
As for homo stuff i didn't really get that feeling, but maybe it was hinted more in the original.
