Derivatives were fine, but I struggled more with vectors and the chapter in the book I had vectors had the most pages. It's probably the math I suck the most at right now. I haven't gotten my exam results from R1(one of the Norwegian math subject you need to pass to get into engineering and other uni courses). Apperently it might come in January and I either gotten a low grade on it or failed I feel like. R2 goes into integrals and 3D vectors. So working on that a bit while waiting for exam results.

It's probably why so many drop out or have to retake, but I doubt people would be happy if they thaught more math in school. Most people already struggle with math in general

IDK how it is in Norgeria but in the USA they don't teach you how to prove things and evaluate proofs until college. It's actually retarded how students aren't given the correct tools to investigate things on their own.

Not really here either to be fair. The best you can do is study the material or math on your own ahead of time so you have an edge atleast. That's what I'm doing. If school was only about learning math then the system would probably much more effiecent at teaching math per class or time spent. You are pretty much learning math in a similar way to people do literature, science, language, history etc in class settings. Can't be helped that it sucks.

math is easy(well, anything you'll take in school) just learn the core concepts, most people have at least one fundamental misunderstanding because the curriculum is done horribly

Math isn't hard. It's the learning all of the things in a short timespan so you don't flop that's hard. That being said a lot of math professors have failed math classes in the past. Almost everyone who is going for higher level math will probably flop hard at some point
