A fast moving object (like, uncannily fast, definitely hypersonic), presumably metallic and cigar shaped but it was hard to tell at a distance.
I spotted it during a family bbq, over a dozen years ago - I was a teenager back then. Thing was north to us, moving east to west, no maneuver. Other family members saw it too but couldn’t make up more than a moving dot (I have very good eyesight). It was very far away and at a very high altitude.
I assume it was most probably some classified hypersonic aircraft, maybe long rumored SR-71 successor, or maybe even successor of that.
