This is what one of the "sprue" of that mini looked like. Plastic ones are grey, resin ones white
You cut off the parts with hobby knife, after that you can build (you of course use the glue) the whole mini or paint stuff first and build them later

Don't like weathering, i like when mini looks cleaner. I did blood effect because i think it would suit word bearers, i would probably do dirt and rust if i did iron warriors, death guard, etc.

in general you should apply more rust and weatherness all around that thing, it's a fighting vehicle not a fancy car it should be all dirty and gritty

It shouldn't be done on vehicles alone then, it should be done on everything including basic marines
Everyone has their own way of painting, it would be boring if every army looked the same
There are different variants of land raider, one i paintes is based on the oldest land raider mini
