Wil it break a wall?
Did you apply too much to collapse the whole house or not enough?
Did you waste resources using too much, or use too little and have to try again - assuming your first failure lets you back in to try again.
Will it cause sufficient overpressure or apply brisance to destroy the type of target?
Will you frag yourself initiating it either by a safety failure or insufficient safety distance?
Explosive chemistry is only one small part of explosive use.
